Wiley Baxter is the owner of Custom Tower and has been a driving force behind the company’s success. Formerly serving as Program Manager implementing P25 communication systems, Wiley brings a wealth of operational insight and hands-on industry knowledge to his leadership role. His extensive field experience and strategic vision have enabled Custom Tower to consistently deliver high-quality, reliable solutions to clients throughout the region.

A native of Pensacola, Florida, Wiley earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University. His blend of technical expertise and strong program management skills has been pivotal in fueling Custom Tower’s growth, while upholding the company’s core values of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, Wiley enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. A passionate fisherman and motocross racer, he is currently training to compete in the Baja 1000 Ironman—an endeavor that reflects the same discipline and determination he brings to his professional life. Whether navigating the Gulf of America, racing through the desert, or taking on home improvement projects, Wiley approaches every challenge with energy, precision, and a deep commitment to craftsmanship.

Director of Operations

Ricky Guidry brings over four decades of experience in the communications tower industry to his role as Director of Operations at Custom Tower. A veteran of both tower manufacturing and field installation, Ricky has built a career defined by operational excellence, hands-on leadership, and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in delivering mission-critical infrastructure.

As the former owner of Custom Tower, Ricky played a foundational role in shaping the company’s reputation for quality, safety, and reliability. Under his leadership, the organization grew into a trusted provider of towers and steel infrastructure for public safety, commercial, and government clients across the country.

Today, Ricky continues to drive operational performance and workforce development at Custom Tower, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards from fabrication through final installation. His unmatched field expertise, coupled with decades of strategic oversight, make him an indispensable part of the leadership team.

Respected by peers, clients, and crew members alike, Ricky remains committed to mentoring the next generation of tower professionals and advancing the industry through integrity, innovation, and hard-earned experience.

Director of Engineering

Jake Hebert earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2004.  He joined the Custom Tower team in 2006 and has immersed himself in the design and development of its communication towers and accessories.  With a diverse skill set and problem-solving abilities, he has become an integral part of the company.  His approach to design and his leadership in engineering projects ensure that every tower meets the highest standards of quality and has led to countless successful projects. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their children; always trying to find the perfect balance of faith, family life, and his passion for engineering.
